Today the U7′s played Royston Town away! It was a cold and snowy match, the first 10 mins of the match started even with some excellent play from both teams running around the pitch. Second 10 mins was just the same as the first, with even play in both half’s of the pitch, we managed to score also hitting the post a couple of times. The third 10 mins it was more Royston trying to increase their possession but with some brilliant football from the Hares. The last 10 mins ended the game in the same way as it started, even play in both sides of the pitch which ended with one side just shading it. Well done to all the team they played really well despite the really cold weather which you could see affected them. Player of the match :- Cody.
The U8 Black travelled to Stevenage on Saturday to play SBJ Cobra who are possibly one of the strongest team in Hertfordshire let alone the Crow league, if Cobra thought they were going to have an easy game they were very much mistaken. Hares started strongly and playing football from the back and passing well they troubled SJB who defended more than they are used to at home or away. Hares did score but then squandered some fine chances before Cobra also found the net. The second half Hares tired and having no substitutes to ease those tired legs Cobra started to dominant the game. As the game neared its end and both teams were tired Hares came back into it and again troubled Cobra and got back on the score sheet. it was a fantastic performance by Hares they all gave 100% and gave a top team a lot to think about.
Sunday games were called off due to the weather
