Early start for the u8 oranges away against FC comets (in Hitchin) at 9am!! The boys started really well with Jack and Charlie H scoring for the Hares but then the opposition woke up. Some great fight by the boys and attacking play by Vinnie meant that the parents were on edge throughout. POTM performance by Charlie H well done lads

Wow what a morning for the u8 black team away at Royston. It was the first time the boys had travelled to Royston this year and with the sun shining, the 9am start didn’t seem too daunting!!! The boys got off to a great start and goals from Stanley before half time suggested we were going to have some happy players. Reggie, Samuel and Charlie all made it on the score sheet but POTM performance by Stanley who added another goal in the second half!! Well done boys, home to Shefford next week, let’s hope for more of the same.

Today the U12 yellows were drawn away to Stevenage Borough Timbers in the County Cup, possibly one of the top sides in the top division. Not that it showed in the first half with Hares applying all the pressure with a number of chances, only for the home keeper to keep us out. A great passing move by the home side saw them take the lead, only for Hares to reply with a great left foot effort from Beeshman.  Another breakaway goal from Stevenage only gave them a short lead, when Zane drilled home from close range. All equal at half-time. Second half saw the home side up their game and they were just too strong for our tiring lads. With the home side scoring two good second half goals our lads are out the cup. But they should be extremely proud of themselves. MOTM today went to Toby.
