Well it certainly felt like winter was here this morning for the U8 Blacks as we saw gloves and hats a plenty! The blacks started things off at home to Letchworth and within 30 seconds Charlie opened proceedings while most of us were still getting our cups of tea and bacon sandwiches!! Letchworth fought back and scored a couple before Harry stormed through with a goal for Hares. From that moment the boys never looked back and continued pressing managing to convert a few attempts in their favour. MOTM performance from Charlie who showed that the cold and wind wasn’t going to affect his game. Well played boys and well done to the amazing supporters who shivered on the side lines!! Special thanks to our ladies on the tea stall who tirelessly provide refreshments whatever the weather, we certainly needed you today.

A slightly warmer start for the U8 oranges (1 degree counts doesn’t it!) who were at home to Hatfield. First time admin have seen them play this season and wow what a difference. New signing Leo is starting to embed himself in the team and Finley is certainly showing what a great keeper he is. Credit to Adam on his hat trick this morning but was nipped to the MOTM trophy by Jack who also scored a hat trick!! All the team showed their strength and resilience in cold conditions and I hate to say it everyone but it is only
going to get worse. Well done all of you, you continue to make us proud.
