Teams currently play in the Mid Herts League, Royston Crow Youth Football League and Cambridge & District Colts League
MID HERTS LEAGUE
The MHL is the most local of the leagues in which the Club enters teams, with a catchment area of 15 miles from central Hertford. It is a large league providing football for all ages and ability levels. The league includes teams from Hertford, Ware, Harlow, Cheshunt, Enfield, Welwyn, Hatfield, Stevenage, Hitchin & Letchworth so travel to away games is usually reasonable. U7-U11 matches are played on Saturday, switching to Sundays from U12 onwards.
ROYSTON CROW YOUTH FOOTBALL LEAGUE
The RCYFL is medium-sized league with a catchment area of 25 miles from Royston. It significantly overlaps the area catered to by the MHL and many clubs enter teams in both leagues. U7-U9 matches are played on Saturday, switching to Sunday from U10 onwards.
CAMBRIDGE & DISTRICT COLTS LEAGUE
The CDCL is a league catering only to teams from U12 up with a catchment area of 25 miles from Cambridge. Whilst travel is further for Hares teams, it has a large number of teams across various ability levels and offers an opportunity for children to carry on playing their football on Saturdays right through to U17 level.
